The MT8852A offers a full Bluetooth audio test capability in addition to the Bluetooth RF test specifications of the MT8850A.
Supporting all three codec air interfaces (u-law, A-law and CVSD) on up to three SCO (Synchronous Connection Oriented) audio channels, the MT8852A is capable to test the Bluetooth audio specifications of products like headsets, mobile phones, car consoles and standard telephones.
Rear-panel 3,5mm audio jacks provide analog inputs and outputs for all three audio channels. With an external audio generator and analyzer (e.g. Audio Precision System Two Cascade Plus), distortion and frequency response measurements can be performed easily.
For maximum flexibility the audio link to the DUT can be established either via an air interface or via a direct connection.
